Flint River Ranch's chicken meal and other meat sources do not include meat by-products such as chicken feet, chicken heads, duck heads, beaks, feathers, fish heads, hides, hoofs and intestines. There are no food by-products such as corn, cottonseed, corn cobs, citrus pulp, soy beans, fillers, and no other foreign materials such as noxious weeds, straw, hulls or chaff in our product.

Most brands of cat food include some of these by-products plus chemical preservatives. The use of low quality products and chemical preservatives may be associated with dry skin, allergic reactions, dental disease, poor health and degenerative organ dysfunction.

Oven-baking changes hard to digest starches into easy to digest dextrins, which are readily absorbed into your cat's system. The secret to good nutrition is not how many nutrients are present in a cat's food, but rather, how available they are and how efficiently they can be utilized when digested. The good value is baked-in, not sprayed on.

There is no sprayed-on additive or greasy coating to make the taste acceptable. Ordinary cat foods are extruded under high pressure and extreme temperatures and then sprayed with fat and other products in order to encourage cats to eat.

Feeding Guide

Young kittens may be started on Flint River Ranch by mixing with a little warm water. Feed food dry as soon as the kitten's teeth are strong enough to chew hard foods (8 to 10weeks). Feed kittens about 3 times a day-after six months, twice a day.

Adult cats (1 year) can be fed twice a day. This depends upon what keeps your cat happy. Your cat should be looking for food when the next meal is due.
