Why change Soothing Mist?
In an effort to keep products on the cutting-edge of medical science, HealthyPetNet's
product formulator, Dr.
Jane Bicks constantly reviews the latest studies on ingredients and nutrients.
If there is compelling scientific evidence on one or more ingredients or nutrients
that will improve a product's effectiveness, she will reformulate the product.
That's the reason for New & Improved Soothing Mist. At HealthyPetNet, we are
dedicated to providing you with effective holistic products that help pets live
the healthiest, happiest and longest life possible. We believe this approach allows
us to provide you with the best pet products available today.
How Does New Soothing Mist Enhance Skin Health?
Skin is made up of three layers, one of which includes a network of interlocking
protein fibers and blood vessels. The fibers contain zinc and vitamin C, among
other nutrients. The cells contained in these fibers constantly die and new cells
replace them. These cells must receive the proper nourishment to replenish themselves.
This is the life cycle of healthy skin.
New & Improved Soothing Mist enhances this natural
life cycle and helps relieve common skin problems. The foundation of this effective
formula is aloe vera gel, zinc and vitamin C, ingredients that feed the cells
contained in healthy skin. Plus, it contains special skin soothing and enhancing
herbs.
Aloe Vera Gel
This amazing herb was used thousands of years ago for cuts and burns. Today, many
people grow aloe vera plants in their kitchens and use the rich gel found inside
the plant for sunburn or other skin irritations. Many scientific studies confirm
that the more than 200 active compounds in aloe vera gel work together to improve
skin health.
Zinc
Since zinc is essential in forming the protein fibers of the skin, problem skin
responds to this mineral. Currently, veterinarians use topical zinc preparations
for the management of superficial wounds, sores and hot spots.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an integral part of the skin fibers and essential for its health.
It is also a powerful antioxidant that fights dangerous free radicals that occur
naturally and as a result of irritation.
Lavender, Chamomile & Marigold
Herbalists classify these herbs as carminatives. For centuries, people have used
lavender, chamomile and marigold to soothe the skin from the outside. These herbs
also contain many ingredients that nourish the skin.
What is in this formula?
Water, Glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel, Zinc Acetate, Extracts of Marigold, Lavender,
Chamomile, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Panthenol, Allantoin, Ascorbic Acid, Methylparaben.
How do I use Soothing Mist?
Shake well. Spray a liberal amount directly onto irritated skin or apply to a
cotton ball and then onto skin. For long haired animals, separate hair exposing
the skin for better contact. Rub onto skin in a circular motion to allow penetration.
Do not get in eyes.
How often do I use Soothing Mist?
Use Soothing Mist several times a day (2-3 times) until you achieve the desired
results. Continue to use the product on an as needed basis, thereafter.
How long will it take to see a difference ?
Your pet will feel the soothing effects immediately. If the condition worsens
or does not improve within 4-5 days, you should consult your veterinarian.
Is there anything else I can do to help my pet's skin & coat?
New & Improved Soothing Mist is made to work together with our Herbal Conditioning
Shampoo and our Skin & Coat supplement. While the Herbal Shampoo and Soothing
Mist work on the outside to help the skin and coat, our Skin & Coat supplements
for dogs and cats work on the inside by providing vital skin health nutrients
like omega
fatty acids and vitamin
E.
Is the Soothing Mist safe?
Soothing Mist is safe and gentle for pets over 6 weeks of age. Each batch of Soothing
Mist is tested and certified bacteria and fungus free before being bottled. It
is non-toxic and will not harm your pets if they lick their coats after application.
However, for maximum effectiveness of the product, please keep your pets from
licking their fur for the first few minutes after application so the product has
time to penetrate the skin. No animal testing was utilized in the formulation
of this product.
Comments on Soothing Mist From a Customer
"My
dog has had a problem with compulsively chewing his back near his tail. I've tried
several things and they don't seem to work for long. I saw Soothing Mist on Healthy
Pet Corner's site and decided to give it a try. The herbs in it sounded very soothing
and healing. I added some Tea Tree Oil because I like to deter fleas. I've used
a spray of Lavender and Tea Tree to prevent fleas for years, but he always ran
from me when I wanted to spray him. When I get the bottle of Soothing Mist, he
comes to me and sits still, so I think he knows it's helping him. I've been using
it on my cat that has skin issues also and it's been doing good." Robin
