We're feeling very renewed since we are in the middle of packing for our
move to Virginia. No more hot and humid summers for us! The
Charlottesville area is supposed to be the lowest humidity in the U.S.
besides New England. After 17 years in the Alabama "wetlands" of summer
humidity :-), we are excited to be closer to PA which is where I'm from.

Halloween is coming up and although it's not a holiday we celebrate, there
are some considerations to be made for pets whether you celebrate it or not.

RIMADYL IS DEADLY

The best-selling drug Rimadyl, has enjoyed remarkable success as an
anti-inflammatory medicine for pets, often being used for arthritis. This
drug has been found to be deadly for some dogs, as witnessed by the FDA
receiving MORE THAN 6,000 BAD REACTION REPORTS about the drug manufactured
by Pfizer.

FDA requested Pfizer advise consumers in their advertising that death is a
possible side effect. Pfizer refused and pulled their ads; however, they
have begun including "death" as a possible side effect on the labeling.
