** DONNA'S COMMENTS **
We're about to relocate to Virginia and we're very excited about the move
since it's been a dream to move further north from Alabama since I'm from
Pennsylvania and have always had a hard time with the heat here. It's been
a bittersweet experience since we've made so many friends in the 17 years
we've been here, so I'm very thankful for those who are online so we can
stay in touch.
We have two wild cats that we've "adopted" while living here in the
woods
and we do plan to take them with us when we move on Friday. The whole event
of driving with them in the truck will surely create many memorable moments
:-) Wild Kitties on the Move!
You'll know we made it when you get the next issue of this newsletter! We
have a screened porch at the new home and they've partially adapted to
living in the screened porch we have here.....so I'm sure they'll enjoy the
new smells and views of the woods of Virginia.
Have a great week!
Donna

** SUCCESS STORY **
TICKS
"I live in the woods and give my dog TEA TREE OIL baths and spritz some
on a
comb to apply to my cats to avoid fleas. I've never had to deal with a flea
problem (I also use natural food and LIQUID CHLOROPHYLL in their water so
their bloodstreams don't get toxic and attract the fleas). I was surprised
to find a tick on one of my cats. I knew TEA TREE OIL was supposed to kill
them so I put a drop on and waited. It was big and tough and not letting go,
so I put another drop on and waited. After about 15 minutes I was able to
pull him out dead. Then I used GOLDEN SALVE to heal the wound since it was
swollen and had quite a hole from the tick. It's sure nice to have herbs on
hand to help my animals when I need it!" R.S.

THE CAT'S VIEW OF TERRITORY
Cats are territorial animals. In the wild, a cat establishes an area where
it sleeps and eats - its home base. It's the same in a house. Read more:

THE SITE THAT TRAINS YOU TO TRAIN
There are a few things your pet dog needs to be a happy healthy pet. They
are love, a proper diet, exercise, to be well groomed AND well trained.
Unfortunately, being well trained often slips through the cracks. Statistics
tell us that 90% of dogs that end up in an animal shelter have never been
properly trained. Now there is a site online, greatpets.com, that actually
trains you to train your dog. Greatpets is run by animal trainers who really
know their stuff. This site features answers to commonly asked questions
about training, newsletters, and message boards moderated by the site owners
(professional trainers) where they actually walk you through training your
dog. Now that you know, there is no excuse not to go!
