** DONNA'S COMMENTS **
I got a call from one of our Wholesale Members last week
and she was outside of the vet's office making quite a show
of things from listening to her. I could just see her jumping
up and down and the energy of it all came across the phone
line and I began to do the same.
Her opening words were:
"THE HEARTWORMS ARE GONE! NO DOTS!"
Her dog, Bandit, was diagnosed with heartworms last year.
She took him for an appointment because he was coughing
and seemed to be getting weak. The vet gave him 6 months to
live. I remember that phone call also and I could've cried with
her also, but I had to keep my wits about me to give her some
ideas on what to do. She didn't want to use the chemical/drug
method, but wanted to try an herbal program.
Now here we are a year later with exciting news. She didn't
go back for retesting until it was time for his annual shots.
THE TEST SHOWED THE HEATWORMS WERE TOTALLY GONE!
I'm sure all of us can rejoice with Robin's excitement. If you'd

I love the good news calls and emails. There will always be
enough bad news around in life. The good stuff is what keeps
us motivated to keep seeing life as good!

** HEALTH/HERBAL INFO **
HOMEMADE DOG COOKIES
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 T. baking powder
1 c. prepared Tofu Moo
1 c. peanut butter
1 handful of love
Mix ingredients and roll out. Form bone shapes or use
cookie cutter. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. These could
be used for gifts. Optional ingredients would be nuts,
carob chips, or raisins. Do not use chocolate as it is
dangerous for dogs.

Growling is associated with fearful or assertive displays.
Whenever growling or barking is successful at achieving
the pet's goals, the dog feels rewarded. Subsequently,
the growling will likely become more frequent or intense.
