** SUCCESS STORY **
PICKY EATER
"I wanted to let you know how well my dog likes Flint River Ranch small
kibble food. When I decided to switch him, I mixed it half and half with
his regular dry food. The first time I put it down, he sorted through his
regular food and picked out all of the Flint River to eat and left the rest
behind. I was using a natural pet food, so I was rather surprised. I guess
he found that this stuff was better than his usual dog food, so I suppose
you could call him a "picky eater" for his own good. I finally gave
up
after a week and tossed out the regular food because he refused to eat it!
I guess he knows a good quality food when he smells it!" Bandie's Mom

** BEHAVIORAL/EMOTIONAL TIP **
HARD TO TRAIN DOG?
Imagine two large caption balloons hanging over your dog's head. One balloon
asks "WHY?" As in, "Why should I heel/stay/come/retrieve/jump?"
The other asks "WHY NOT?" As in, "Why not chew the shoe, walk over
here, eat
your sandwich?" I believe that these two questions (along with the answers
received) constitute the primary inquiries that shape a dog's relationship
with his humans. Learn more:

EQUINE EUTHANASIA - WHEN IS IT TIME?
Perhaps the kindest thing you can do for a horse
that is so sick, severely injured, old, lame, or dangerous
is to have your veterinarian induce its death quickly and
humanely through euthanasia. Your decision to have
your horse euthanized is a serious one. Learn more:
