Animal Watch magazine invites photographers of all levels to share their
visions of "ANIMALS IN ACTION" for the publication's sixth annual photo
contest. Whether it's stop-action, continuous motion, or anywhere in
between, we want to see what moves you--and what gets the animals around us
moving!

All entries are due at Animal Watch's offices by August 17. The winning
images will be showcased in the Winter 2001 issue; first prize is $500 and a
Fujifilm Endeavor 310 ix zoom camera. For further information, including
official rules and an entry form, please send a self-addressed, stamped

So much of our pet food has become big industry and big money for non-pet
corporations. That's one of the reasons we switched to natural pet foods
many years ago. We now use Flint River Ranch and are extremely happy with
the health of our cats since. They live to old age and we save literally
thousands on vet bills compared to others.

HYPER DOG

I've told this story before, but it's one that I absolutely
love! We had a couple who used herbs and had a hyper
Rottweiler that would race to the door to "greet" anybody
that visited. With an in-home business, this family needed
some calming herbs for the dog (and themselves?). They
began giving him VALERIAN ROOT and in about a week,
the dog knew he needed it. Anytime they would grab a
bottle of herbs, whether for themselves or him, the dog
would come running and beg for a capsule. Most pets'
