** A NOTE FROM DONNA **

For the past five years, the Prevent a Litter Coalition has worked
tirelessly to get the U.S. Postal Service to issue a stamp that would raise
awareness of pet overpopulation.

All that hard work has officially paid off with the announcement that not
one but two spay/neuter stamps will be available as part of the U.S. Stamp
Program for 2002. The artwork for the stamps is slated to be unveiled on

SEVERE BLOATING CAN BE FATAL FOR BIG DOGS

Bloat is an acute, life-threatening disorder of midsize
and large dogs. It is a serious condition of the stomach
and intestines that causes extreme pain as a result of
distension of the stomach with food and gas. Left
