** A NOTE FROM DONNA **

Many pets in New York suffered last week because their owners were unable to
get home and they didn't have anybody thinking about the pets. Even
children can go to somebody or make a phone call, but your animals have no
way of getting help. Does your personal disaster plan include asking a
neighbor to take care of your pet if you unexpectedly don't come home?

I have to tell you I am so impressed with what our subscribers are doing for
animals amidst the crisis we're having in America right now. I am amazed at
the resolve of pet lovers to defend and protect and aide animals. It's been
so heartwarming to hear the stories that were a response to my special email
with information on a ways to help in the New York City area and around the
country. It's been wonderful!!
