** A NOTE FROM DONNA **

Halloween is soon here and it's time to keep small animals indoors,
particularly black cats. It's sad, but true, that there are so many
ritualistic sacrifices for this horrible holiday.

Forgive me if I offend somebody by condemning this holiday, but there is no
good that comes out of it and it horrifies me that it centers around
children. It's beyond me why parents allow their children out to celebrate
this when it is known there will be stories in the news (and not in the
news) of child deaths and torture, besides all the property damage that
occurs on that day ..... all to get a bag full of candy. It's one of my
"pet peeves" I guess, especially since there are so many animals tortured
and sacrified each year. If you'd like to know more about cats and

of pets that die each year due to overpopulation, which makes it impossible
for me to imagine choosing a specific breed over a poor homeless animal; I
