** A NOTE FROM RANDAL **
I have included below an article on who values their pets over money. I
can't imagine trading off my pet as I am sure you can't. However from the
article below so folks don't share the same views as you and I do.
I want to pass on this dietary information on what not to feed your cat:
--Don't feed your cat raw egg whites because they
contain an enzyme that breaks down the vitamin
biotin, which is essential to your cat's health.
**************
EVERYONE WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE, BUT WHO WANTS
TO BE A PETLESS MILLIONAIRE?
The people at Gallup, on behalf of the Iams Pet Food Company, recently
asked Americans if they would trade their pet for $1 million. What were the
results?
It seems that the majority of Americans WOULD NOT make the sale. (I take
that as good news.) Sixty-six percent of those survey said no to the swap
for cash.
Among the survey respondents who said yes, it is interesting to note that
households with children are more likely to consider trading their pet for
the money than households without children (39 percent versus 26 percent).
Plus the more affluent households (with $50,000 plus annual incomes) are
more likely to trade than households under $50,000 (38 percent versus 29
percent).

When we got back we took one of our cats to the vet and found out he was
diabetic. We have been researching diabetic information on the net and
found 8 herbs to be recommended for pets and humans alike. Looking at
Nature's Sunshines product line we found a combination that uses 7 of the 8
herbs that are recommended. We started giving it to "Kitty Boy" and
he
already after 4 days seems to be improving.
If you haven't looked at the combination you might check it out at
http://www.theherbsplace.com/sugarreg.html
We have found that over the years many customers/clients have asked is there
one overall good product they can take. We used to say NO!, until Nature's
Sunshine brought out the Nature's Noni. We have featured it in the
advertisement above for that reason. May I suggest you try it. If you're
not a member already, take advantage of the offer on the above featured
page.
Thanks for your continued readership. Please let us know if we can be of
any service to you.
Until next time,
Randal

** HEALTH/HERBAL INFO **
Hi! This is Donna, the "old" editor of this ezine :-) I know you are
all
enjoying the new editior - my sweet husband - but I simply had to share this
with you!
I received a call from somebody wanting to switch to Flint River Ranch
natural pet foods. She had renewed determination to do all she could to
keep her pets healthy after having lost a cat because she used clumping
litter. I've had information on this in previous issues, but I felt a
renewed passion to remind you to inform friends and neighbors and family
about this stuff. I'm also sure there are some of you that have not been
informed on the dangers of clumping litter.
CLUMPING LITTER KILLS!!!
Please take the time to view the info on this website. It can save cats
lives and a lot of heartache for cat owners. Help spread the word! Forward
this to others who have cats so that we all can make a difference in the
lives of our precious pets.

PEANUT BUTTER DOG BISCUITS
Forwarded by Rosa Brown
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 medium eggs
1/4 cup natural crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
3/4 cup unbleached flour
1 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup rolled oats
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix together the
water, oil, eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. In the bowl of an electric
mixer, combine the dry ingredients. Pour the wet mixture into the dry
ingredients and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Roll the dough
into a ball and place it on a sheet of floured wax paper. Roll or pat
out the dough to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Cut the dough with a
cookie cutter (preferably one shaped like a dog biscuit) and place the
biscuits on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Turn off the
heat and leave the biscuits in the oven for one hour.
Makes 1 to 2 dozen biscuits, depending on the size of your cookie
cutters.
